TURKEY CREEK CAMPGROUND

Almond, North Carolina

Family Camping in the Smoky Mountains

More pictures are on our Photos page

Turkey Creek, a small babbling brook, meanders through our quiet, little cove on its way to the confluence of the Nantahala and Little Tennessee Rivers, which is just a short hike through a southern Appalachian hardwood forest. A wide variety of vegetation ensures a continual display of color.

We are OPEN for the season. Come join us!

At the centrally located Office you'll find the game room which has a foosball table and a pool table.

Below the Office is the bathhouse with hot showers, coin laundry, and a sanitary dumping station.

The campsite amenities include picnic tables, fireplaces, 20 amp. electrical service and water.

Most of the creek sites have 10' x 12' raised tent pads and are shaded at least part of the day.
